The Dizzy Resonance Platform is made for vinyl listeners who want to give their turntable a more stable base. A record player is sensitive to vibrations from the floor, furniture and surrounding room. Dizzy is placed between the turntable and the supporting surface, where its solid mass and dedicated feet help reduce unwanted resonance and mechanical noise.
Studio Bours deliberately works with solid wood instead of veneer. The material gives the platform weight, warmth and a natural character that fits beautifully with vinyl playback. Dizzy is available in ash, mahogany, oak, or cherry, so it can be matched to a turntable, record cabinet or audio furniture.
The spikes underneath the platform are an essential part of the design. They reduce direct contact with the surface below and help prevent vibrations from being transferred to the turntable.
