Shipping policy

1) Scope and territories

These delivery terms apply to consumer purchases on allvinyl-platenkasten.nl.

We deliver to The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Denmark. Deliveries outside these countries are not available unless expressly agreed in writing.

2) Delivery methods and fulfilment

Orders may be fulfilled from our own warehouse or shipped directly by the manufacturer (drop-shipment). The chosen method does not affect your statutory rights.

Direct-from-manufacturer delivery is used where suitable to reduce costs and environmental impact and may result in separate parcels for a single order.

Unless otherwise stated, delivery is to the front door/kerbside at the address provided. Assembly, installation or carrying items inside is not included.

3) Lead times and availability

Indicative delivery time for each item (e.g., record cabinet, LP furniture, vinyl storage) is shown on the product page and/or at checkout. Lead times may differ per item and depend on stock status and manufacturer schedules.

Under EU law, if no specific delivery time has been agreed, we will deliver within 30 days of the contract date. If delivery is delayed beyond the agreed/indicated time, you may request delivery within an additional, reasonable period. If we fail to deliver within that additional period, you may terminate the contract and receive a refund.

We may make partial deliveries when this expedites fulfilment at no extra cost to you; each part-delivery forms part of the same contract.

4) Order processing and tracking

Orders are processed on business days. Public holidays in the shipping or destination country may add transit days.

Where available, we provide tracking information after dispatch. Delivery windows are indicative and not guaranteed.

5) Delivery address, access and failed delivery

You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and ensure safe access for large/heavy goods typical for record storage furniture.

If a delivery attempt fails due to an incomplete/incorrect address, lack of access, or your absence within the agreed window, the carrier may:

attempt redelivery; and/or hold the shipment for collection; and/or return the shipment to sender.

Reasonable redelivery or return costs may be charged to you where you are responsible for the failed delivery.

6) Risk and title

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you (or a third party you designate, other than the carrier) physically receive the goods.

Title to the goods passes only after we receive full payment of all sums due under the contract.

7) Inspection on delivery and transport damage

Upon delivery, please inspect the packaging and goods. If there is visible damage, note it with the driver (where possible) and notify our Customer Service without undue delay, ideally within 48 hours, including photos of the product and packaging.

Notifying us promptly helps us pursue claims with the carrier/manufacturer and resolve issues faster. This does not limit your statutory warranty rights.

8) Fees, taxes and customs

Prices shown at checkout include VAT applicable in the destination country where required.

No customs duties apply to deliveries within the listed EU countries. Any local delivery surcharges (e.g., remote-area fees, upstairs service) will be shown or agreed in advance if applicable.

9) Made-to-order items and scheduling

Some goods are made to order (e.g., specific finishes, dimensions or configurations for an LP cabinet). Lead times for such items reflect production planning and will be shown before you place the order.

For bulky items, the carrier may contact you to schedule a delivery day. If you need to reschedule after a slot has been confirmed, please inform the carrier (or us) as early as possible; rescheduling fees charged by the carrier may be passed on where applicable.

10) Environmental considerations

To reduce avoidable transport and emissions, we may ship directly from the manufacturer when appropriate. We encourage customers to measure their space and plan cable/gear layout before ordering record storage or a record shelf to minimise failed deliveries and returns.

11) Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver where caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, disruptions at carriers or manufacturers, government measures). We will notify you of such events and take reasonable steps to mitigate delay. Your statutory remedies under Section 3 remain available.
